Maximum security men participate in a weekly storytelling workshop where they are able to explore their relationship to self and their community. The program began December 2017 and continues to provide services each week to inmates.
The CHANCE Program is comprised of incarcerated men ages 18 – 24 who participate in a series of programming classes at TCCC to help reduce the potential for recidivism. DSWM provides a class focused on the art of personal storytelling and music once a week.
DSWM provides a rotating group for men and women every 8 weeks that allows participants to explore memories and patterns throughout their life. Stories enable inmates to creatively express themselves as well as identify recurring themes in their own life choices. The program began June 2018 and continues to provide services each week to inmates.
